Introducing the Community Section

When I embarked on this online journey, I quickly realized how much I enjoyed writing and sharing my story.  But I also wanted this space to reflect more than just my voice. Don’t get me wrong—I’ve got plenty to say! I also believe in the power of storytelling, especially when it comes from women who’ve lived a little, learned a lot, and have wisdom (and wit) to share.

That’s why I’m introducing the Community section of the blog—a dedicated space for reader stories. Whether it’s about the business you run, unexpected career developments, personal reinventions, joyful surprises, or the detours you didn’t see coming but wouldn’t trade for anything, this space is for you.  And it’s not limited to career topics!  If you’ve overcome challenges, discovered new passions, or simply have a moment worth celebrating, I’d love to help you share your story!

How It Works

Interested in sharing your story?  Here’s how:

• Connect: Please send me a message at  lisa@lisalikesthis.com.
• Let’s Chat:   We’ll connect via phone or email—whichever you prefer.  Think of it as a casual chat over coffee (virtual or otherwise).
• Crafting Your Story: I’ll ask you a few questions to get to know you and your journey.  Then, I’ll craft a post that captures your experience in your own words and spirit.
• Your Approval: You’ll have a chance to review the copy before it goes live.

Why Share?

Because sometimes the most inspiring thing isn’t advice—it’s knowing you’re not the only one figuring it out.  Your story could be the spark that helps someone else take a leap, find their voice, or simply feel less alone.
